Prior to founding ECI, for 17 years Mr. Perez a serial entrepreneur, served as a health care executive, managing partner and founder for one of the largest Health Care Medicare Advantage service firms in South Florida with over $300,000,000 in annual revenues, 12 locations and 700 employees. On November 2016 Mr. Perez successfully exited the operating business and sold to a large prominent private equity firm based in California.

In 2012 Mr. Perez also served as a managing partner and founder of a local TV station, Channel 18, becoming CNN Latino’s over the air product. In 2014 the station was rebranded to Mira TV and partnered with Mediaset, Spain’s largest program developer and station group to ensure and enhance quality programming. While Mira Tv continues to be an important local TV station servicing the South Florida community, Mr. Perez divested in 2015.

Mr. Perez has participated in multiple real estate transactions and investments, inclusive of land acquisition, commercial and residential real estate and hard money lending.

Mr. Perez is a proud husband and father of four.

Mr. Mato is a principal of Edgewater Capital Investments

Prior to joining Edgewater, Mr. Mato was a developer at FCI Residential Corporation, a subsidiary of Florida Crystals, where he was responsible for the underwriting, due diligence, entitlements, financing and oversight of over 1,200 apartment units with a total value of approximately $300 MM

Prior to FCI, Mr. Mato was a Corporate Attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where he completed project finance, mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions valued at over $5 billion.

Mr. Mato is a member of the Florida Bar and attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he obtained a Juris Doctor degree. as well as a Certificate in Business from the Wharton School. He also holds a B.B.A. from the University of Miami.
